Welcome to Spud Arena: a free multiplayer potato shooter in your browser
Spud Arena is a free online multiplayer game in which cartoon potatoes compete in a toy arena. It runs directly in a web browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create: open spudarena.com, press Play, and the game places you in a match within a few seconds.
Matches
Each match has eight players. A round lasts three and a half minutes. When the round ends, the results are shown, a new arena loads and the next round begins. Matches are always in progress, so there is no waiting for a game to start.
A player who is knocked out returns to the arena a few seconds later with a fresh skin. Being knocked out costs nothing and is a normal part of every round.
Supported devices
- Computers: keyboard and mouse, or a game controller.
- Phones and tablets: touch controls. The buttons can be moved to suit your hands.
- Browsers: current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. No app is required.
Languages
The game is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, German, Portuguese and Hindi. The language is chosen from your browser settings and can be changed at any time in the settings menu.
Designed for young players
The game is drawn in the style of soft vinyl toys, with rounded shapes and pastel colours. Chat consists of a fixed set of friendly phrases, so no free text can be typed. The game never asks for a real name, an email address or a phone number. Parents can find a full description in the guide for parents and in the privacy information.
